Thanks to your support, we made Rockwall a No Kill Community. On Monday August 15, 2011, the Rockwall City Council voted unanimously to make our open-admission municipal shelter a No Kill facility by mandating a "live outcome" rate of 90% or better. That means we adopt, return to owner or save at least 90% of all the pets we shelter in Rockwall.
How is the Rockwall shelter doing? Here are the statistics from Rockwall Animal Services:

That puts us one step closer to our goal of making all of north Texas No Kill. Thanks to your help, Rockwall and Royse City are No Kill facilities, and we're working on more. Join us by donating, fostering or volunteering. Let's save more lives!
